What to Expect From Your Sessions with Lisa Kent

What areas of London do you cover?

I provide mobile personal training in Hampstead (NW3), Highgate (N6), Muswell Hill (N10), and the surrounding areas of North London. If you’re close to these locations, feel free to get in touch — I may still be able to reach you.

Who do you specialise in training?

I specialise in helping busy professionals aged 30+ who want to lose weight, get fitter, build confidence, and feel stronger in their everyday lives.

My programmes are designed to fit seamlessly around demanding jobs, family responsibilities, and limited free time.

Do you bring the equipment?

Yes — I bring all the equipment needed for an effective workout, including kettle bells, boxing pads, resistance bands, and more. If you have your own equipment that you would like me to use, that’s no problem at all and I will incorporate it into our training sessions.

You don’t need any kit at home. I can train you in your living room, garden, local park, or building gym.

Can I train at home, outdoors, or in my building's gym?

Absolutely. Whether you prefer the comfort of your home, a nearby green space, or your building’s gym, I’ll adapt your sessions to your environment.

What is your experience and background?

I have 15 years of coaching experience, and I’m a black belt kickboxing instructor as well as the 2019 ICO British and World Kickboxing Champion.

This background allows me to design sessions that improve fitness quickly, boost confidence, and add a fun, empowering element to training.

Are you okay with pets or kids being around during sessions?

Yes — totally fine. I regularly train clients who have children at home, pets wandering in, or the occasional interruption. Your life is busy, and your fitness shouldn’t suffer because of it.

What happens during the first session?

Your first session focuses on:

  • A chat about your goals and lifestyle
  • A movement and posture assessment
  • A gentle workout tailored to your level
  • A plan for how we’ll achieve your goals together

There’s no pressure or judgement — just a clear starting point.

Do you offer a consultation call before booking?

Yes. I offer a free phone or Zoom call so you can get to know me, ask questions, and see if my coaching style suits what you’re looking for.

Do you provide nutrition guidance as well?

Yes — I include practical, realistic nutrition support so you can achieve results without restrictive dieting or giving up the foods you love.

What if I'm unfit, anxious, or haven't exercised in years?

You’re exactly the type of person I’m here to help! I specialise in working with people who feel intimidated by gyms, have low confidence, or feel like they’re “starting from scratch.”

We go at your pace — you’ll never feel pushed beyond what’s safe or comfortable.

How often should I train with you?

Most busy professionals see the best results with 2 sessions per week, but I can create a plan that fits your schedule and goals.

Can two people train together?

Yes — I offer joint and small-group training for friends, partners, or colleagues. It’s motivating, fun, and more cost-effective.

Are you insured?

Yes — I am fully qualified and insured for personal training and kickboxing instruction and also first aid trained.
